European Economic and Trade Office in Taiwan

Taiwan is Europe’s 15th largest trading partner in the world. The EETO helps facilitate that partnership.

The EETO is responsible for managing exchanges with Taiwan for EU member countries in sectors such as research and technology, information society, education and culture, fisheries, environment, climate change, intellectual property rights and standards and norms. The European Economic and Trade Office (EETO) was established in 2003 as the EU's office in Taiwan. 16 member states of the European Union have also established offices in Taipei. The EETO operates a number of exchange opportunities between the EU and Taiwan.
